Destroying Gaza's Second Tallest Tower​

Located on Omar al-Mukhtar Street in the heart of Gaza City, the Shorouq building is one of the oldest tower blocks in the coastal strip and one of its most famous landmarks. The hospital is the oldest medical institution in Gaza, as it was established in 1882 and has many luminous signs in the history of the besieged city.
The hospital was founded by the Anglican Church of England and was later run as a medical mission by the Southern Baptist church from 1954 to 1982 when it returned to the Anglican Church.Read More
